When I started Earl’s in 2005, I set three main principles upon which to build: we will roast our own whole turkeys, center-cut pork loin and eye of round beef for sandwiches (no cold cut “lunch meats” need apply). We will craft our own soups and sauces from scratch. Our breakfast sandwiches will be available all day.
Our menu has since expanded to include options such as our grilled-to-order salmon or deep-fried cod sandwiches, but as we enter our 15th year here in Arlington, we remain committed to creating fresh meals that are truly “homemade without the hassle”.
We cater, too. Nothing fancy, just great sandwiches for meetings and office events. Generous portions, freshly made side salads and all the drinks and cookies you’ll need to keep your energy up for that final two hours of the meeting.
Come visit us at 2605 Wilson Blvd in Arlington, VA (about a 5 minute walk from either the Courthouse or Clarendon metro station); hope to see you soon!

I should have reviewed this a long time ago. It's always good, like a homemade sandwich the day after Thanksgiving, but every day of the year at Earl's! I've never had a bad meal here, although my wife (from Lake Charles, Louisiana) wasn't too keen on the gumbo. The cranberry turkey is a must-try, as is the brie. Keep it up!
The best sandwich I've ever had. I ordered the turkey and brie. You can see the cranberry sauce simmering in a large stainless steel pot on the stove, right behind the counter. Everything was warm, melted, and delicious. Excellent ingredients. Friendly staff. Good music. Fast service. A quiet, hidden corner!
Every time I pass Earl's while running errands, I stop and get a sandwich. This is how a lunch sandwich should be: real turkey, fresh, lightly toasted multigrain bread, green lettuce (not white or yellow), and (my favorite) real cranberry jam. It's delicious and reasonably priced! I could eat here almost every day!
